Complicated framing is what I do best!!!

Framing Construction is one of my strongest trades This 5000 sq/ft. home above is one of the buildings I've built for Scott Lamkin Custom Homes in Colleyville, Texas.

I've enjoyed being a FRAMER it has taught me many values in life. Framing is one of the toughest jobs in the world. To be a FRAMER you must be strong; physically, mentally, and spiritually. FRAMERS work outside in the heat of summer, the cold of winter braking ice off top plates to walk in high places on thin boards, his fingers bleed almost everyday for one reason or another. The materials are heavy, hard and many times too long, dangerous to the body, many nights they sit on the toilet with a razor blade cutting the days lumber from their hands. then the tools we use, wow! if you cut with the saw it falls off! hit it with your hammer you smash it, shoot it with a nail gun the hole is only an 1/8 in. but it sure hurts. You can't be sleeping on this job!

That's not all, the plans we get usually don't work, so we get to engineer it as well.                Does it look easy?

The better Framers learn their trigonometry.

Well, To want to be a FRAMER takes Complete insanity, because your just asking to learn patience, and if you stick with it long enough, and it doesn't kill you first, you will learn patience.

I have framed more than 1000 homes in the Dallas, Ft. Worth area in the last twenty years for over 100 different builders. These homes were the best built homes in the Dallas, Ft. Worth area, because I put them to gather. It has been my practice to learn the Uniform Building Codes, (commonly referred to as the U.B.C.) this code is the keys to proper, and reliable  construction methods. The framing is the most Important component in your home, if it's not correct; plumb, level, square, and strong, then nothing else will be right. This is why you need the best framer you can find.

This is an RV port 50 ft. by 14 ft, The circular shaped braces I designed, and built to help support the front to allow the RV to pass under.
