Triple S Construction is an Authorized Dealer of DECRA Roofing Products

For over 100 years architects, builders, engineers and designers have specified metal roofing to protect their projects. Metal has a long-standing reputation for performance, longevity, versatility and beauty.

DECRA’ lightweight roofing systems offer a high performance alternative to other roofing products.

As the pioneer of stone coated steel technology, Tasman Roofing’s Systems have been “proven around the world” since 1957. Marketed and installed in over 80 countries, there are over 10 million DECRA installations worldwide. DECRA roofing panels are manufactured to international quality standards and are tested to comply with or exceed relevant building codes and regulations. The manufacturer of DECRA’ Roofing Systems has been assessed and registered as meeting the requirements of ISO 9002 (1994).

DECRA’ steel roofing systems from Tasman Roofing allow architects, designers and engineers maximum design flexibility. DECRA Roofing Systems are ideal for new construction in commercial, institutional and residential applications where high performance, long life and low maintenance is desired.

DECRA’ Roofing Systems are ideal for flat to pitch conversions and roof over applications. Structural support is generally not required and light gauge steel trusses provide the necessary framework to install a DECRA” Tile or DECRA~ Shake stone coated steel roof.

Improved aesthetics, greatly reduced maintenance and a 50 year limited warranty offer an excellent alternative to flat roof design and ordinary mansard applications.

Nine layers of protection enhance the superior weathering and corrosion resistance of DECRA’ roofing panels. Warranted for 50 years against 120 mph winds and penetrating hail, a DECRA roof system is unsurpassed in performance and durability.

DECRA Roofing Systems give today’s architects, specifiers and engineers precisely what they want ... distinction, versatility and quality.

Improved aesthetics, greatly reduced maintenance and a 50 year limited warranty offer an excellent alternative to flat roof design and ordinary mansard applications.

DECRA® Roofing Systems are one of the strongest roofs available. DECRA® panels do not rely on weight to assist their performance in high winds. With each panel securely interlocked with the panels above, below and to each side, a DECRA® roof provides exceptional performance in hurricanes and high winds. This interlocking design also ensures that wind-driven rain will not enter the ceiling cavity. Each panel is horizontally fastened, not vertically fastened as with most other roofs. In high winds, wind uplift is perpendicular to the roof. The prime reason for failure of vertically fastened roofs is fastener pullout. This is not the case with a DECRA® Roofing System, where the fasteners must fail in a shear, is much more unlikely situation.

Perhaps no other roofing system in the world has undergone as diversified a testing regimen as DECRA’~ Roofing Systems have. Every region has its own unique condition that proves fatal to ordinary roofing products.

DECRA Roofing Systems have undergone extensive hail testing for the volatile Texas markets, fire and combustion tests for the mountain states, earthquake shear stress for the California market and wind uplift for the hurricane prone Atlantic coast.

As the worlds oldest and largest manufacturer of stone coated steel roofing, Tasman Roofing has marketed and sold DECRA Roofing Systems for both commercial and residential applications. Our roofing products have been ‘field tested’ around the world. From the dry windy climates of Saudi Arabia to the freezing snow conditions of Canada and the tropical storms of the Pacific Rim, DECRA Roofing Systems have withstood the test of time as well as world-wide climatic conditions.

Devastation was widespread in Jamaica with roofing material and roofing substructure being removed by the extreme wind uplift force of the hurricane. In the top of the picture, houses with DECRA Tile roofs have remained intact a DECRA Roofing System in the background withstood Hurricane winds in Jamaica where others failed.

Aside from stunning aesthetics, every DECRA® roofing panel provides superior performance against the elements. DECRA~ roofing panels will not support combustion, crack, break, warp, curl or split. The acrylic bonded, ceramic coated, stone granules, manufactured by 3M® for roofing use, resist fading and UV ray penetration. DECRA® Roofing Systems maintain their appearance.

DECRA® panels fasten to a batten grid which acts as structural spaced sheathing. Since the installed system weighs only 1.5 pounds per square foot, DECRA® Roofing Systems can be installed using any conventional structural framing system and/or installed directly over existing roofs in a re-pitch or re-roof situation. All panels are secured at eight points, with the batten system installing directly to the framing members. Interlocking installation assures a weather tight barrier against the elements. It is the interlocking structure and unique horizontal fastening method which has enabled DECRA® Roofing Systems to survive some of the world’s worst weather conditions and perform extraordinarily well against fire, hurricanes and even earthquakes.

Even coastal climates, subjected to corrosive salt water high winds and a high concentration of U. V rays are no match for a DECRA Roofing System such as this one in Paradise Island, Maid/yes.
